PROJECT BRIEF
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) is upgrading the Broadway Junction station complex to achieve Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance through a major rehabilitation project that includes installing seven (7) new elevators, new accessible staircases, and a new accessible entrance. The project also involves replacing escalators, repairing platforms, and improving overall circulation with a new passenger transfer bridge and pedestrian bridge. This comprehensive overhaul is part of a larger MTA initiative to improve accessibility across its system.
NERIS is providing continued Environmental Management services through the Construction Phase of the MTA ADA Upgrades at Broadway Junction, including the DEP Remedial Action Plan, excavation and air barrier installation oversight, Daily Reports, end point sampling, and the Closure Report.
